Wells is a jazz pianist who's won jazz awards and led his own octet and trio, a session guitarist and a key contributor to Scotland's indie scene. He has collaborated with Phantom Engineer, Future Pilot AKA, Isobel Campbell, Maher Shalal Hash Baz and - most recently - the former Arab Strap vocalist Aidan Moffat.
