SKECHBOOK is the culmination of a long and winding musical climb that has seen ECHASKECH honing their skills on the live circuit, producing twelve tracks that flow between beautiful ambience and a masterclass in beats.
As well as receiving a 5 Star album review, Echaskech are the subject of a feature in iDJ magazine this month. Speaking to iDJ, Dom explains that "the general aim of the game is to get people?s spines tingling." ECHASKECH have truly succeeded in this aim, by producing the best intelligent dance album in a very long time.
Musical and melodic from the first note, SKECHBOOK is an album reinforced with breakbeats, acid lines and floor shaking bass in parts but not afraid of dropping the tempo way down and sending you drifting off in others. ECHASKECH steadily join the dots from Kraftwerk to Street Sounds, from Acid House to Techno, having developed an unstoppable understanding of dance rhythms. The result is an effortlessly flowing and inescapably powerful sound.
