Digitonal was founded by
Andy Dobson, clarinetist, soundtrack composer, DJ and producer and his
partner, celebrated violinist Samy Bishai in the late 90s and have built
a solid reputation for innovative, melodic, beautiful electronic music.
Drawing comparisons to Orbital, Philip Glass and Michael Nyman, their
tenth year sees the release of a newly mastered and reworked
retrospective album, Be Still My Bleeping Heart.
The band perform regularly as an improvising live unit, blending
instruments, electronics and genres at festivals and venues around the
world.
