Edoardo Catemario - guitar
Born in Naples, Edoardo Catemario is a rare combination of technique and musicality in the purest sense of the term. He is recognized as an amazing virtuoso and as the heir of the famous historical Neapolitan school. After being awarded in some of the most important European guitar competitions (among other he won the first prize at the "Andres Segovia" contest of Almuñecar - Granada in 1991 and at the contest of Alessandria in 1992), Catemario started a successful career with concerts in the main halls worldwide and many recordings. Catemario is also appraised as an excellent teacher and he held Master Classes in France, Spain, Italy and Austria. He has been professor in the "Conservatoire International de Paris" and he collaborates with Salzburg's Mozarteum where he teaches during the Summer Academy.
