La Beata Olanda focuses on bringing new live to forgotten musical treasures. The main topics on which the ensemble focus are: lesser-known and not yet published works, composers of Baroque and early classical music, court music and themes found in Celtic folklore.
In 2000, La Beata Olanda performed the European premiere of the violin sonatas by Elisabeth-Claude Jacquet de la Guerre which received a warm reception from both critics and the audience.
The members of La Beata Olanda are particularly well practised in historical performance technique due to their extensive study and have played often at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and Amsterdam. It is as a result of this that they made the decision to call themselves ‘Happy Holland' in Italian.
The The ensemble has given performances at the Thuringian Bach Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Baroque Festival Arolsen, culture Nordhessen, Eckhof Festival Gotha, Tavistock Festival (UK) and Gruyeres Festival (CH) and Festival Bach de Lausanne (CH) 2007.
