How to redeem your Promotion Code  

• Linn Records Promotion Codes can be used to obtain a discount on a purchase at www.linnrecords.com.  They can also be used to obtain a discount when placing an order by post or telephone (online redemption rules and exclusions apply).  When you receive your Promotion Code you will be informed what titles, artists, genres and formats it applies to.  Some promotion codes are valid for more than one use, while others are valid for a single use.  If it is valid for a single use you should ensure you purchase all the items you want in one purchase.
• If you want to use your Promotion Code to obtain a discount on an online purchase, you should add your chosen items to the shopping cart.  On the "shopping cart" page you will see a "Promotion Code" box.  You should enter your Promotion Code here.    

•  Click "add" and the shopping cart will recalculate the total due.  If the discount applied by the Promotion Code leaves a zero total due you will not be asked for any payment details.  Otherwise proceed through the checkout as normal.
• When you have clicked "add" you can either "continue shopping" or proceed to "checkout".
• Please note only one Promotion Code can be used per transaction.

• If you are eligible to receive a Promotion Code you will be sent one!  If you have not yet created an account at www.linnrecords.com, we suggest you do so.  Newsletter subscribers will also receive Promotion Codes from time to time.
  
  
  

Troubleshooting

Here are some common questions and solutions for anyone experiencing a problem with their Promotion Code.  If you do not find your answer here please email us.  

Problem: I have lost my Promotion Code. 
Solution: Please email us and if you are eligible we will re-send you the email.

Problem: I have entered a Promotion Code but it has not applied a discount to my shopping cart.
Solution: Please check the instructions for use of the Promotion Code.  Perhaps you have not purchased items to which the code applies, perhaps you have purchased items in a format which is not included in the discount.

Problem: I have been sent a Promotion Code but when I try and use it I get an 'invalid' message.
Solution: Please check the 'use-by' date of the Promotion Code.  If you believe the Promotion Code is still valid please email us and include the promotion code details and what country you are in.

Problem: I have purchased a download but the Promotion Code has not applied a discount.
Solution: Perhaps you have purchased items in a format which is not included in the discount - please check the instructions for use of the Promotion Code.

Problem: I forgot to use my Promotion Code by the 'use-by' date.  What can I do? 
Solution: You will not be able to use the Promotion Code online.  If you email us we may agree to process the discount manually - but please note that any discounts applied after the 'use-by' date are at the discretion of Linn Records and may be refused.
