Claire Martin - British Jazz Award Nomination

We are pleased to announce that Linn artist, Claire Martin, has been nominated for a 2013 British Jazz Award in the category of Vocals. Linn has also been nominated in the Best New Album category for Claire's album: 'Too Much In Love To Care'.

Known as The First Lady of British Jazz, Claire Martin has previously won Best Vocalist at the British Jazz Awards on six separate occasions! 

Upon its release ‘Too Much in Love to Care' received several five star reviews with The Jazz Times describing her vocal talent equal to that of Ella Fitzgerald and Shirley Horn, two of Claire's idols. ‘Too Much in Love to Care' was Claire Martin's first US studio recording for fifteen years and guest stars Kenny Barron along with bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington.
