Congratulations BRIT Award Winners

BRIT award

Congratulations to Ben Howard and Mumford & Sons who triumphed at yesterday's BRIT Awards.  Ben Howard won two statuettes for British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act whilst Mumford & Sons was named Best British Group.

Fresh from their 'Album of the Year' sucess at the Grammys, Marcus Mumford was feeling very patriotic: 'We love being British, and we love going out in the world and telling everyone we're British'.  Well Britain, and in fact the world, loves them too!  'Babel' has been their biggest album to date and deservedly so.  With its melodic songs and Marcus's impassioned vocals 'Babel' is one of the must-have albums of 2012.

Ben Howard was probably the biggest winner of the night.  Whilst he and Emile Sande each won two awards, Ben declared himself happy just to have been invited to the event and seemed gently surprised when he won not one, but two awards.  The British Male Solo Artist category fielded a strong line-up including Calvin Harris and Plan B which makes his win all the more impressive.  His talent as a singer-songwriter has seen his album 'Every Kingdom' receive rave reviews and win him a legion of fans.

Both 'Babel' and 'Every Kingdom' are available to download in up to Studio Master quality.
