New 24-bit album
10 July 2009
Karl Seglem, one of the most exciting contemporary tenor saxophonists and composers in Norway, delivers an amazing jazz album which is in a class all of its own. On "Norskjazz.no" (Norwegian jazz now), Seglem, together with the Eple Trio, has created an album that has its roots in classical jazz, represents the best in contemporary jazz and points to its fascinating future. Released on 3rd July, this album has already garnered praise, with AllAboutJazz describing it as "an album that doesn't lose sight of the inherent exploratory nature of jazz" and Fidelity Magazine calling it "a masterpiece".
This is is the second 24-bit Ozella Music has made available on linnrecords.com, the first, "Hello Troll" by Helge Lien Trio, proved particularly popular.
