Next month sees the start of the BBC Proms 2012 and as usual there is a wealth of talent performing. Here are Linn's top picks - with all artists available on Studio Master from linnrecords.com.
Daniel Barenboim directs his first Beethoven symphony cycle in London - and becomes the first conductor since Henry Wood in 1942 to survey all nine symphonies in a single Proms season.

Robin Ticciati conducts Mozart's comic opera with Glyndebourne forces. This will be a taster of what is to come when the Scottish Chamber Orchestra Principal Conductor takes over from Vladimir Jurowski at Glyndebourne in 2014.
