Carol Kidd wins 'Best Jazz Vocalist' award!

08 July 2011

Carol Kidd has won the Vicky Patterson Award for Best Jazz Vocalist at the 2011 Scottish Jazz Awards. The award, which was decided by public vote, was presented at a ceremony at the Tron Theatre in Glasgow, Scotland.

Carol Kidd released her most recent album, Tell Me Once Again, in April in collaboration with long-time guitarist Nigel Clark. This lovely recording perfectly captures the spine-tingling intimacy of this dynamic duo.  Carol and Nigel will be performing music from Tell Me Once Again at The Theatre Royal in York on Tuesday the 19th July.
