Hebrides Ensemble debut performance at the Wigmore Hall

The international chamber group, Hebrides Ensemble, will launch "Olivier Messiaen: Chamber Works" at their debut performance at Wigmore Hall, London on Friday 30th May 2008 at 7.30 pm. 

The concert will not only mark the release of their new album but will also celebrate the centenary of two of the most admired composers of the 20th century: Olivier Messiaen and Elliott Carter.  The Ensemble will be performing the famous Quatuor pour la fin du Temps at the concert as well as Messiaen's Piece pour piano et quatuor a cordes and Carter's 'Gra' for solo clarinet and Quintet for piano and strings.

The Ensemble are: Alexander Janiczek - violin; Maximiliano Martin - clarinet; William Conway - cello/director; Philip Moore - piano; David Adams -violin; Catherine Marwood - viola.
