Jazzwise Chart Placing for Ian Shaw

Ian Shaw's much-anticipated forthcoming album of self-penned material, entitled "Lifejacket", has been placed at number six in the chart of revered publication Jazzwise.

Previously the publication have enthused about his songs in a live setting and the editorial team are clearly delighted at the decision to record them on his second album for Linn Records.

It kick-starts what is sure to be a busy few months of coverage - a three page interview in the same publication follows in April.

Meanwhile, Time Out describe his current live set thus:
