William Carter to feature on CD Review

Tracks from William Carter's album, La Guitarra Española, which was awarded Gramophone Editor's Choice in July, will feature on BBC Radio 3's CD Review on Saturday the 25^th August. Folias Espanolas will open Saturday's programme followed by several other tracks from the recording which can be heard throughout the morning.

Since its release, La Guitarra Española, has won great acclaim for the wonderfully evocative interpretations of Spanish guitar legend Santiago de Murcia. "This whole disc is an effusion of passion, flavoured with Mediterranean sunshine" stated the Scotsman, whilst BBC Online suggested that "this is real summer listening, conjuring up warmer climes than here".

CD Review can be heard on Saturday 25^th August on BBC Radio 3 at 9.00am.
