Instead of replicating her successful debut album, Norah Jones has opted for more of a country feel here. There is still a large element of the satisfying folky, jazz style to please lovers of the first album. It contains beautifully sparse instrumentation and plenty of Jones' trademark sultry vocals.

This album is licensed for download from Decca.

'Feels Like Home' does not have a weak track and boasts superb lyrics, appropriate instrumentation and a calming, though sometimes melancholic, effect. This is a diverse and ambitious album. Jones is maturing as a song writer and with contributions from her experienced band, the variety is rich.

Dolly Parton guests on the up-beat 'Creepin' In' and songs by Duke Ellington and Tom Waits are interpreted by Jones so that they sit perfectly among the rest.
