Leah Kardos' March 2013 release is a deeply conceptual album, combining abstract compositions with lyrics comprised of re-arranged spam emails.

This album is licensed for download from Bigo & Twigetti.

Download includes - cover art

‘One can't fail to be impressed by Kardos, her debut album was a delight and Machines is not content with delivering more of the same, but strives to push new angles and ideas, blended with verve, imagination and, most importantly, a sense of unconstrained freedom to experiment.' Barcodezine

‘Machines' is a song cycle based on the impact of technology on human interaction and explores the various desirable and undesirable consequences of these developments, whilst retaining a knowing smile throughout its examination. All the texts have been taken from a series of spam emails which have had their meaning subverted to create entirely new contexts from the original messages.

Composed, arranged, performed and produced by Leah Kardos
Vocals - Laura Wolk-Lewanowicz
Cello - Catherine Saumarez.
Artwork by Kristian Purcell & Bigo &Twigetti
Mastered by Ben Wiffen
