About the musicians
The Gathering are:
Lucinda Drayton: Vocals
Lucinda, an extraordinary songwriter and producer brought the band together. She is co -writer/ producer of several hits including a number one single; 'The Real Thing' (Toni, Di Bart 1994)
Director of label Blissful Music, Lucinda has released nine successful albums as the artist Bliss and recently under her own name. She is particularly well known in the ‘mind/body/spirit' arena for co-writing and singing the classic, ‘A Hundred Thousand Angels'
A keen meditator, Lucinda runs groups and workshops worldwide on self- empowerment.
Marcus Cliffe: Bass, Upright Bass.
Produced albums for Lucinda Drayton, Tom Mcguiness and his own artist project Miracle Mile. Marcus has worked with Mark Knopfler Rod Stewart, Bryan Ferry, Steve Earl, Emmy Lou Harris Al Green, The NottingHillbillies and TasminArcher. With remixers Tin tin out he played on mixes for Sting, Faith hill, Maria Carey as well as their own hit with Emma Bunton. Marcus is a talented producer and also plays keys and guitar. www.norburybrookstudios.com

Signy Jacobsdottir: Percussion and instruments from around the world. Current playing/ recording include, Fribo, Raymond Harris and the Fusion Experience, Haftor Medboe Group, The Lotus Project, Capercaillie, James Grant, Michael McGoldrick, Karen Matheson, Emily Smith and Sharleen Spiteri. Plays regularly at the Dance School of Scotland, Scottish Ballet education department, "Y Dance" and the Scottish Dance Theatre company class. Signy is also a member of Rhythmwave (Brazilian street rhythm band).
Russell Stone: Vocals
Best known for his world-wide hit ‘We Do It' in 1977, Russell has written songs for Randy Crawford and worked with producers George Martin, Tommy LiPuma, Georgio Moroder, and Henri Mancini.
He has also worked with artists as varied as Marvin Gaye, Tony Bennett and Adam Ant.
Over the past 8 years in his work as an integrative therapist, Russell has developed ‘Sounding', a unique style of wordless singing.
Michael Timothy: Keyboards,
Known notably for his role of musical director with Massive Attack, Michael has played with many artists including Hugh Masekela, Boy George, Terence Trent -Darby, Womack & Womack, The Chimes, Maysa and China Black.
Mike has composed music for film and TV and is currently writing and producing with Mushroom, co-founder of Massive Attack.
He is a meditator of 20 yrs and seeks to bring this dimension into music.
Phil Hudson Guitar
European Young Jazz Soloist of the year 1991. Production credits: "Early Days" by Beth Hirsch and His own Solo albums,"Between the Sea and the Sky and "Somewhere Else" Co-writes include several with Bliss/ Lucinda Drayton. Phil has also worked with William Orbit Samantha Mumba Mica Paris Bobby Bird Pop Staples Beverly Craven Billie Piper Kenny Thomas and Carleen Anderson. He has recorded albums with Tina Turner ,Geri Halliwell, The Lighthouse Family, Blue, Omar, Jhelisa, Anna Torroja, Dorado and many more. Phil is a practicing Bhuddist.
