Claire Martin - The Waiting Game - O's Place Jazz

Claire has a very pleasant and entertaining vice over many standards along with some fine guitar by Jim Mullen. Over 90% of the songs are winners lead by "You Hit the Spot", "Some Cats Know", "Tight" and "Be Cool". Linn Records does a spectacular job of caputuring the performance as well. Instrumental timbre and placement are perfect. An exceptional debut!
