Joe Stilgoe - Songs On Film: The Sequel - BA High Life

01 October 2016
BA High Life
Cerys Matthews

I met this artist at a rather surreal BBC radio 2 bash one Christmas. It deatured Damian Lewis singing George Formby if I remember rightly... with Joe Stilgoe as band leader. Father Richard Stilgoe was present, proud of having passed the baton to the next generation. If you like the easy listenign jazz a la Michael Buble, you might dig this. It includes film songs such as Cool from West Side Story.
