Die angesehene schottische 'Cappella Nova' präsentiert eine weitere CD mit Chorstücken des schottischen Komponisten James McMillan, der bereits mehrere Werke für diese gerade in zeitgenössischer Musik spezialisierte Vokalensemble geschrieben hat.

'Who Are These Angels?' begreift u.a. ein 'Lux Aeterna', ein 'Benedictus', das letzte der 'Strathclyde Motets' sowie die Messe die James McMillan speziell für Papst Benedikt XVI. komponierte, und die bei dessen Besuch in Schottland im September 2010 von mehr als 150.000 Sängern gesungen wurde.

Die 'Mass of Blessed' von John Henry Newman (Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Acclamation, Agnus Dei) is für den liturgischen Gebrauch bestimmt und dauert knapp 10 Minuten. Die gefällige Musik wird von der 'Cappella Nova' veredelt.
