Cette sélection de symphonies de Mozart, jouée par un orchestre éloigné des préceptes baroques, nous fait revivre les grandes heures de l'interprétation musicale incarnée jadis par Josef Krips notamment. Et, comme au bon vieux temps, le plaisir est toujours au rendez-vous, aussi intense qu'auparavant, offrant la grâce et la poésie que peu de formations baroques peuvent atteindre. Charles Mackerras, dirigeant le Scottish Chamber Orchestra et dont nous venons d'apprendre le décès à l'âge de 84 ans, nous transporte donc, pour notre plus grand bonheur, dans un passé des plus actuels. Au programme de ce SACD réjouissant, les symphonies N°29 K.201, N°31 "Paris" K.297, N°32 K.318. N°35 « Haffner » K.385 et N°36 « Linz » K.425. Dans une belle prise de son en DSD, voici un Opus d'Or en forme d'hommage à savourer avec nostalgie ou sans...
