The Linn label has become synonymous with classical recordings of the highest possible technical quality, and this 1994 effort from the Palladian Ensemble must rank as one of their most impressive offerings to date. The excellent chamber music group tackle Bach's "Trio Sonatas" with the commendable blend of style, togetherness and vitality which has become their musical trademark, and are in particularly fine fettle throughout an absorbing CD.
