Robin Ticciati - Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra - Berlioz: L'enfance du Christ - Classical Music Magazine

05 March 2014
Classical Music Magazine
5 Stars

Berlioz is not just for Christmas! Ticciati directs a vibrant, unsentimental account of this enduring score, and is joined by a near-perfect cast: Gens is motherly but achingly beautiful Mary; Loges a rich-toned, very human Joseph. With exemplary surround-sound, this is a welcome addition to the catalogue.
