Ingrid Fliter - Live Review

Although the prevailing tone of Chopin's Preludes, Op. 28 is intimate, spontaneous and personal, he took care to give the cycle a range of expression that would bear a concert-scale presentation, ending with a passionately dramatic virtuosic prelude in D minor.

Fliter drew out the contrasts between the alternating major and minor key pairs, and played the work as a grand concert cycle with a wide dynamic range and involving expressive manner
