The power and ferocity of the climaxes are enough to make sure you've insured your loudspeakers and warned your neighbors! Clearly Lazaridis is no run-of-the-mill virtuoso, and we're sure to hear more from him.

Playful, deftly leggierissimo, and elegantly fluid, the piece lights on dragonfly wings then surges up a lion's paw.

Liszt - Lazaridis - Le Soir

13 November 2006
Le Soir

This young pianist who was born in Greece, has become the darling of major concert halls and his appearances trigger both the enthusiasm of the audience and that of the critics. One has to admit that his technique is indeed impressive, both by virtue of the wide range of the sonority/wide scope of sound and by the generosity of expression which he releases in a fine interplay of shimering tones. His Liszt Sonata is a mosaic of emotions and his Paganini Etudes are alive with (ripple with) virtuosity. (Translated)
