Maeve O'Boyle - All My Sins - The Sunday Post

21 June 2009
The Sunday Post
Rob Scott

With her debut album All My Sins Scots singer-songwriter Maeve O'Boyle has fulfilled all the early promise shown in the earlier release of the single Swimming Upstream and her 2006 Celtic Connections breakthrough appearance. Co-written and produced with well-known names including Ricky Ross, Francis Macdonald (Teenage Fanclub) and Calum Malcom (The Blue Nile), it's a classy collection of great soul-searching songs well sung. It's released by Linn on CD in Scotland tomorrow (elsewhere in October) but you can download it from online stores now and in master quality from linnrecords.com from tomorrow.
