    Alejandra Gómez Ordaz received her music education at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey and at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. She won Second Prize at the competition held by the Canadian Vocal Arts Institute. She has collaborated with the Cinco de Mayo Orchestra of Puebla, the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Acapulco, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Campeche, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Oaxaca, as well as the Orquesta Filarmónica de Sonora. On the international stage, she has performed in France, Italy, Russia, Canada, Israel, Switzerland and the United States. Her most prominent opera roles have included Carmen, Charlotte in Werther by Massenet, L’enfant in L’enfant et les sortilèges by Ravel, The Angel in The Demon by Rubinstein, and Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel by Humperdinck, among many others.
