Phantasm records Bach in Berlin, at the very venue where Herbert von Karajan used to record, the Jesus-Christus-Kirche in Berlin-Dahlem.
Phantasm enters the US Billboard Chart
Phantasm have had a fantastic six months since they released 'William Byrd: Complete Consort Music'.
Not only was the recording an instant hit with the critics, with the Independent on Sunday declaring it 'faultless', but it also gained the group a Gramophone Editor's Choice accloade as well as a Golden Diapason d'Or. Plus it has so far gained two awards nominations; one for the 2011 Gramophone Awards and one for the 2012 International Classical Music Awards.
Phantasm also enjoyed a summer of successful festival appearances, including concerts at the Vantaa Early Music Festival, Stockholm Early Music Festival and Bergen International Festival.
Now 'William Byrd: Complete Consort Music' has entered the US Billboard Chart!
Congratulations Phantasm on a truly incredible six months.
