Fuga Libera
Fuga Libera
Fuga Libera, founded in 2004, is a most dynamic label. The repertoire stretches from late baroque to contemporary music, supported by eminent musicians as well as a host of young artists. Fuga Libera maintains partnerships with institutions such as the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, but also with festivals and concert halls in order to identify and highlight future stars.
'This is powerful music from a pretty much unknown composer. His modern-day champions play with passionate control, conveying both the intensity of his writing but also the structural underpinning that allows the emotions such poignancy and vehemence.'

Reviews
CD of the Week: 'The result is as delightfully unpredictable as it is indescribable.'
Musiq’3 Radio
'An ultimate invitation to contemplation and inner peace!'
New Folk Sounds
Clef d'Or: 'The rich, colourful orchestration here is perfectly rendered by Patrick Davin's clear and nuanced direction, in the evocation of climates that are sometimes elegiac, sometimes epic.'
Res Musica
'His symphonic works, recorded for the first time, show a rare power of expression. The light-filled drama of Les Heures dolentes, the subtly coloured fresco of Jour d'Été and the spectacular projection of Le Chant de la Destinée all bear witness to this.'
