Claire Martin - Believin' it - Sunday Times

The discs she made with Richard Rodney Bennett were immaculate, yet somehow Martin — one of the best jazz singers on either side of the Atlantic — takes things a notch higher. Her Swedish trio is all fire and ice, and, as ever, the material is anything but conventional. I’m Not in Love, by 10cc, and Joni Mitchell’s You Dream Flat Tires both glitter, while Martin signs off with a bittersweet ballad by our own Duncan Lamont. Sheer class.
