Dunedin Consort - Monteverdi: Vespers 1610 - BBC Radio Scotland 'Classics Unwrapped'

Time to hear something from the Dunedin Consort who will be appearing at the Glasgow Cathedral Festival, it’s their much anticipated new CD of Monteverdi’s Vespers 1610, following an appearance at last years Lammemuir festival that simply blew away the critics and audience alike it was a bit of a no-brainer to capture that on a CD. Good line up including the wonderful baritone Peter Harvey whose voice and intelligence shines through in everything he does. It’s a voice to a part in the choral numbers which works very well and joining the Dunedin Consort is the famous early music brass ensemble the virtuoso players of His Majestys Sagbutts & Cornetts.
