Francesco Corti - Handel: Winged Hands - Record Geijutsu [BE]

On CD, harpsichords often sound metallic. Probably, sound engineers assumed that because they have metal strings they must sound metallic. As a matter of fact, original instruments in good condition have a natural sound. The harpsichord used in this recording is not an original instrument but its high notes sound natural and the middle range “sings” with a rich tone.
