This week's Album of the Week features Simon Trpčeski, the wonderful pianist, and he's playing with the WDR Sinfonieorchester under Cristian Măcelaru. But Măcelaru and Trpčeski have this extraordinary history of working together and if you listen to the texture of this lovely Brahms ... it means that the piano and the orchestra are as one. The balance is so utterly perfect.
