Linn is named Label of the Year

01 October 2010

We are still catching our breath after being named 'Label of the Year' at the 2010 Gramophone Awards!

The champagne was flowing at London's Dorchester Hotel today as the head of Linn Records, Caroline Dooley, accepted the prestigious ‘Label of the Year' accolade at the 2010 Gramophone Awards.

For us, winning this prestigious award is the culmination of nearly three decades of work, and represents the dedication of a team striving to give the you the best music, with no compromises on quality or support of our artists. So to hear Gramophone's Editor-in-Chief James Jolly describing Linn as "...the very model of a modern record company" was, well, music to our ears.

Our experience in making award-winning recordings and music systems gives us a unique understanding of the musical journey from the performer to the finished product. We have unrelentingly high standards, and that goes for the listener at home too. For the finest possible experience, they can play Linn Studio Master downloads through a Linn DS system.

Explore Linn's award-scooping albums or uncover those hidden gems that have collectively contributed towards Linn being named 'Label of the Year 2010'.

Don't know where to start? Well, our list of award-winning recordings is a good place, or perhaps our specially selected range of highlights.
