Jeff Leyton - the Music of the Night - Deeside Chronicle

Leyton is one of the best singers in the UK at the moment and has a unique style to his voice. Tracks on this album are right up my street and if you are a fan of the musicals then you simply must buy this. Tracks like Maria (West Side Story), Music of the Night (Phantom of the Opera) and Gethsemane (Jesus Christ Superstar) are all given the Jeff Leyton treatment. His version of Bring Him Home (Les Miserables) sends shivers down my spine and is such a difficult song to attempt - but Leyton attacks it majestically. This is the Moment comes from Jekyll and Hyde, a musical yet to appear in the West End, and this is the best song from it - and Leyton does it true justice.
