As the year comes to a close, it’s the perfect opportunity to highlight some of the fantastic music that our artists have shared over the last twelve months.

With too many favourites to include, here are just some of the highlights that we have enjoyed listening to, which we hope will become favourites of yours too.

Orchestral highlights include Dvořák by Cristian Măcelaru & WDR Sinfonieorchester, Adams by Paavo Järvi & Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich and Haydn by Giovanni Antonini & Kammerorchester Basel; instrumental and chamber highlights include performances by Lucile Boulanger, Truls Mørk and Théotime Langlois de Swarte & Justin Taylor; vocal and choral highlights include Handel from The English Concert, a premiere recording by The Marian Consort and a duet by Véronique Gens & Sandrine Piau. The collection concludes with two hugely fun tracks: Copacabana by Ludwig Orchestra & Lucienne Renaudin Vary and Sarahchá from the world’s first Cuban horn concerto by Sarah Willis, Havana Lyceum Orchestra & José Antonio Méndez Padrón.
